For 2011, for the first time ever the Blue Hills Classic will feature a Cat 3 field, in addition to Cats 4, 5 and Masters 40+ (Cats 1-4). Online registration at BikeReg.com is strongly encouraged. Founded by the Blue Hills Cycling Club, the Fifth Annual Blue Hills Classic is presented by BHCC and 545 Velo, with the support of generous sponsors and volunteers. The race is a USA Cycling sanctioned event. Race proceeds support local charitable organizations, including conservation funds. Also supporting the Classic are the Massachusetts Department of Conservation, the Milton Police Department, the Canton Police Department, and the Massachusetts State Police / Milton Barracks.
